Overall, it can be clearly seen that in both charts the proportion of energy produced by oil was higher, whereas the percentage of energy produced by others renewable was lower. In addition, the proportion of hydro was remained unchanged.
In detail, in 1985 the proportion of energy produced by oil was 52%, followed by nuclear was 22%. Next the proportion of natural gas was 13%, after that the percentage of coal and hydro were 8% and 4% respectively. Finally, the proportion of other renewable was 1%.
In 2003, the proportion of 39%, followed by natural gas and coal which was 23% and 22%. After that, the percentage of energy generated by nuclear which was 8%. Finally, the proportion of energy produced by hydro and other renewable was collectivelly 8%.
