The charts illustrate the percentage of energy produced using distinct resources in a particular country in two different years.
Overall, the proportion of oil turned into an energy was the greatest in both years. Meanwhile, the hydro was the least used resource for the production.
In 1985, approximately a half of the country’s power was composed of oil. Next, 22% and 13% of its entire energy constituted nuclear ores and gas resources, respectively. In terms of other sources, the share of power produced from coal and hydro stood at 8% and 4%, respectively.
Regarding 2003, the proportion of energy made from oil remained the most essential, and allocated 39% of the total power of the country. Over the period, the percentage of nuclear energy decreased by 14%, whereas the share of power made up by natural gas grew by 10%. The proportion of energy produced from coal rose significantly, and for this year its value stood at 22%. However, the amount of used hydro was the same in comparison with previous year.
