The first bar chart illustrates the proportion of people who purchased concert, cinema and theatre tickets online in two different aged categories in three countries such as Australia, UK, and Malaysia in the first three months of 2013. Additionally, the other chart shows information about the percentage of three different tools utilized to buy tickets through internet in these countries.
overall, the proportion of people aged 25-44 buying tickets online was significant higher than that of the 65+ group almost all countries, expect Malaysia. Additionally, desktop computers were the most common method of accessing internet to purchase tickets, while mobile phones were the least common method.
Regarding the first chart, Australia and the UK had a similarity about the people spending for ticket purchases online in two aged groups 25-44 and 65+, around 55% and 45%, respectively. However, the people who bought tickets online in Malysia in aged group 25-44 were lower than that of 65+, around 38% and 40%, respectively.
Turning to second chart, desktop computer and mobile phone witnessed a similarity pattern. The proportion of people who used desktop computer accessing internet to buy tickets in three countries Australia, the UK, and Malaysia were at around 62%, while that of mobile phone were at around 20%. Next came the laptop, with a close percentage in Australia and Malaysia at around 45%, while the UK had a moderate percentage of around 30%.
