The first chart provides information about the number of people in selected countries who purchased concert, cinema, and theatre tickets online in the first quarter of 2013.The second chart illustrates the most common means of internet access used for buying tickets in the same three countries.
In general, people aged 25-44 were significantly more likely to buy tickets online than people aged 65 in Australia and the United Kingdom, whereas the ratio is the opposite in Malaysia. It is clear that desktop computers were the most commonly used devices for online ticket purchases across all three countries.
It is evident that the majority of people who purchased ticket online in Austalia and the United Kingdom came from to aged of 25-44 made up 55% while this rate in Malaysia is only about 40%. However, the figure for the older generation in the same the united kingdom and Malaysia and 2% lower than Australia.
