Overall, at the beginning of the period, music was the most significant part of activities, and walking exercise contributed the least to the teenagers’ free time activities. In comparison, at the end of the period, the internet became the largest section of activities, and the lowest contribution was made by walking practice.
Television was 19% in 2009 and experienced a slight growth of 3% in 2019. At the beginning of the period, the Internet made up 12% of teenagers’ activities, respectively, and these figures rose to 38% in 2019.
Sports, which comprised 21% of teenagers’ spare time in 2009, fell to 11% in 2019. In 2009 cooking food and listening music were at 21% and 16%, respectively, and decreased by 10% and 6% after a 10-year period, while walking exercise declined slightly from 8% to 3%.
