The following two pie charts compare data about how teenagers spent their free time in a particular country between 2009 and 2019.
Overall, the biggest change across a decade is that about 3 times more teenagers spend their free time on the internet. Those who are willing to take a walk outdoors change their habit and become a lower percentage. Other activities had changed the percentage, but all became lower than before.
In 2009, the most famous habit was playing musical instruments or enjoying music. However, the percentage was 24 and decreased to 18. The second lowest activity was that only 12 percent of teenagers liked to use the internet. Although the percentage of this habit surprisingly grew to 38 percent, it became the most popular activity in 2019. While the percentage of cooking and sports numbers was 16 and 21 percent, these activities were not that common in 2019, and the percentage was reduced approximately by half.
Those who like to watch television have not changed a lot from 2009 to 2019. In both years, the percentage of this activity was around 20 percent. The least popular activity was walking outdoors, which ranged from 8 to 3 percent.
