In 1988, there was the highest proportion of water was used for washing purposes. However, water used for bathroom was 2 percent lower than washing, which was 22 percent. Additionally, using water for gardening showed 20 percent, which was 2 percent lower than using water for bathroom. Using water for kitchen recorded lowest percent compared to other residential purposes, which was only 15 percent. However, there was 3 percent lower water used for toilet compared to kitchen.
In 2008, using water for kitchen was peaked 29 percent. However, for bathroom it differed by only 1 percent, which was 28 percentage. This was also largest proportion. For gardening purposes water was used only 7 percentage, which was very low percent compared to others. Moreover, water used for washing 22 percentage .In the toilets water was used 14 percent.
