Given are two pie charts providing information on the proportion of funds spent on various fields by local governments in two different years, 2010 and 2015.
Overall, as can be seen, the percentage of expenditure on welfare and interest on borrowing grew in the latter year, while the remaining categories exhibited slight decline or remained constant.
In 2010, education, being the highest proportion of expenditure at both years, represented just below a quarter, however this figure dropped by 3% in the latter year. At 21%, healthcare was the second most-spent category by government and it witnessed only 1% decrease in 2015. Furthermore, pension constituted the same proportion in both years at 19%, however defense fell from 17% to less than a fifth.
In contrast, welfare and interest on borrowing climbed moderately both by 5%, from 8% and 5% in 2010 to 13% and 10% in 2015, respectively. On the other hand, transport, culture, leisure and other activities showed a very small number in the beginning, and they all fell by a minimal margin to 1%, being the lowest levels in the mentioned years.
