The graph illustrates why people travel and the chart shows the travel factors faced by travelers commonly in the US in 2009.

Overall, what stand out from both figure is that the graph of the reasons of the people take a trip was for work purposes which tripled the others. The issues from the charts is dominated by price of travelling by the triptakers.

The highest reason for US citizens to travel was commuting to work and home at 49%, while those who went out for their conditional reasons had second place at 19%. Shopping would be the third reason for them followed by social or recreational activities which 16% and 10% respectively. The least ratio was reason why they travel is to visit friends or relatives.

The pie charts accumulated all issues faced in the US, which was the price of travelling (36%) the first problem related to the travellers suffer. Those figures showed the biggest shares among the listed issues. The safety concerns (19%), the Aggressive drivers (17%), Highway congestion (14%) all of those also worsen the percentages. Minority travellers experienced the difficulty of access to the public transport (8%) and space for pedestrians (6%).
