Overall, Salvador experienced higher levels of rainfall throughout the year, while Brasilia showed a clear dry season in the middle of the year. In addition, rainfall in Brasilia fluctuated more sharply compared to Salvador.

In Brasilia, rainfall was highest at the beginning of the year, reaching around 200 mm in January. This figure then gradually declined over the following months, hitting a low point of approximately 50 mm in July, which was the driest month. After July, rainfall began to rise steadily, increasing to nearly 200 mm again by December.

In contrast, Salvador received consistently heavy rainfall during most months. Rainfall increased from about 150 mm in January to a peak of roughly 300 mm in May. After this peak, the amount of rainfall declined moderately, reaching around 160 mm in October, before rising slightly towards the end of the year.
