Overall, it is evident that, the highest concentration of sodium and fats can be found in dinner and lunch, also added sugar takes the lion’s share of the pie with regards to snacks. Very little of all nutrients are present in breakfast.
When it comes to sodium, dinner contributes almost half of all food substances. Lunch accounts for the second highest contribution at 29 percent. Both breakfast and snacks contribute the lowest concentration of this substance at 14% each.
Similarly, saturated fats contribute 37 percent of all substances at evening meals. 26 percent of this nutrient is present in lunch. Snacks and breakfast both contribute 21 percent and 16 percent each.
However, 42 percent of added sugar is present in snacks making this food the primary source of this particular nutrient. Dinner contributes it’s lowest share in snacks at 23 percent. Added sugar constitutes only 19 percent of lunch and breakfast accounts for 16 percent, making it the least contibutor across all categories.
