As seen, dinner contains the most significant proportions of sodium (43%) and saturated fat (37%). The second highest percentages lie in lunch, which has 29% of sodium and 26% of saturated fat. The percentage of sodium eaten in breakfast is the same as that in snacks. There is 16% of saturated fat consumed in breakfast, which is the least proportion.
As for added sugar, people intake 42% of it when having snacks, which takes up the largest part. Added sugar is also responsible for 23% in dinner and 19% in lunch, while only contribute mere 16% in snacks.
Overall, it is clear that dinner contributes the most to sodium and saturated fat consumption, while snacks are the primary source of added sugar.
