The bar chart illustrates the number of monthly bookings made by various clubs at a leisure center in two separate years: 2018 and 2022. Meanwhile, the pie chart depicts the proportion of bookings by time of day for the year 2022.
Overall, in 2018, live music dominated the bookings, while the dance groups emerged as the leading users in 2022. Although most groups increased their bookings over this period, live music and yoga and fitness either showed a decline or remained unchanged. In terms of time slots, the evening hours between 6 and 9 PM were the most popular in 2022.
In 2018, live music accounted for the highest number of reservations, with around 25 per month, followed closely by the dance groups with 25. Yoga and fitness represented 15 bookings, while class language recorded about 10. The remaining groups such as book clubs and quizzes only registered about 5 bookings a month. By 2022, dance groups slightly rose to nearly 28 bookings, overtaking all categories, whereas live music significantly dropped to around 8. Yoga and fitness remained stable at 15, while other groups at least doubled their bookings compared to 2018.
Turning to the distribution by the time of day in 2022, nearly half (45%) of the preservations concentrated in the 6 to 9 PM period. The late afternoon slot between 3 and 6 PM accounted for one quarter of the total, while midday to 3 PM contributed 16%. Morning bookings were less common, with 9% made between 6 and 9 AM, and only 5% between 9 AM and noon.
