As can be seen from the table, the entertaining activities such as watching TV or videos was the most common choice for both men and women. Moreover, females had the higher amount of time spending on reading, while the remaining leisure activities had more men spending time than women. In addition, the bar chart shows that women spent more time on almost the housework activities, except for repairing which men did it more.
Regarding the table, by far the activity which both genders spent almost their time on it was watching TV or video and listening to radio, as it accounted for 137 minutes per day for men, which was around 20 units higher than that of women. The same pattern can be seen in sport having the amount of time that men spent was higher than that of women, with their respective figures being 15 minutes and 11 minutes. By contrast, females recorded the average time per day spending on reading stood at 19, which 1 units higher than men.
Concerning the bar chart, cooking and washing was the most common choice among all household activities for both males and females; moreover, the amount of time which women spent on it was around 80 minutes per day, which was double the figure for men. Similarly, women not only spent more time on shopping than men, at nearly 40 and 30 respectively; but the average time females spending on clothes washing and ironing was also higher than males, as it received respectively 30 and 10. Conversely, repairing was more common with men, having the amount of daily time was around 20, which doubled that of women.
