Overall, it is apparent that TV, radio and video were the most popular leisure activity while the lowest was physical engagement. In terms of household tasks, it was more preferable for cooking and washing than the other categories. In addition, women tended to have more time expenditure men on households while it was true for men regarding entertainment.
Looking at the table, the figure for TV, radio and video held the highest amount of time spent with 137 and 118 minutes for male and female respectively. The least favourable was sports with only 15 minutes for men and 11 for women. Both figures shared the same amount of time dedicated to on reading as 18 minutes daily for men and slightly higher (19) for their counterpart.
On correspondence with the bargraph, women devoted a substantial time for kitchen chores at more than an hour ( around 80 minutes) while men was only less than a half of that. The opposite can be true for the lowest housework activity: repairing where just under 20 minutes were allocated by men and about 10 for women. In terms of shopping, the amount of time for male was about two third of that for female ( around 35 minutes) at almost 25. However, only 10 minutes were made for clothes-related tasks by men whereas the figure for other gender was three times higher at half an hour.
