The pie charts depict both all water and fresh water recourses around the world, while the bar chart illustrates the usage area of water in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
Salt water constitute majority of world’s water. World’s scarce fresh water recourses consists of three different recourse, ice and glaciers accounting for predominantly of all fresh water. The consumptions areas of water recourses differ among three countries. Egypt and Saudi Arabia use their water similarly for agriculture, while Canada allocate to industrial purposes mostly.
Salt water accounts 97% of all water resources on Earth. The percentage of fresh water is only 3%, with ice glaciers and ground water being the primary contributors at 79% and 20%, respectively. On the other hand, only 1 % of all fresh water constitutes of surface water.
The utilization areas of water occur variously among countries. Egypt and Saudi Arabia use their water for agricultural purposes at nearly 80%, whereas fresh water of Canada is consumed mainly in industry, emerging almost 80%. The percentage of water, which is allocated domestic use, realizes almost same level in three countries at 10%, Canada legging behind slightly the others.
