Overall, it is evident that the majority of water around the world consists of salt. Ice and glaciers proportion in freshwater have the highest proportion. Moreover, Eygpt and Saudi Arabia’s water used is allocated to agricultural purposes, while Canada consumes it in the industry.
In terms of water worldwide, salt water is distributed in the world at about 97%, while just 3% is fresh water. Subsequently, 79% of the freshwater consists of ice and glaciers, whilst the percentage of surface water is just 1%. There is about 20% of the water in the ground.
Regarding the bar chart, Egypt and Saudi Arabia used water for agricultural purposes, accounting for 80% and less than 80%, respectively. In contrast, Canada had the lowest proportion at about 10%. Furthermore, Canada has the highest percentage in the use of water for industry around 80%, while Egypt allocates under 10% and Saudi Arabia about 10%. The domestic sector accounted for approximately 10% of all nations.
