Overall, people in Australia use online web mainly for emailing, having equal percentage distribution between age groups ranged from 15-24 to 65 and over. Young population has largest proportion in the utilizing of social networks and the trend for this purpose is slowly decreasing as the age of the users increases.
In the first bar graph three purposes for the usage of Internet are listed, where emailing has nearly 100% of users, while social networking and paying online checks share approximately same percentage, having covering only 60% of consumers. The utilization of online banking services is popular between age groups of 25-34 and 35-44, and the trend is decreasing as it gets to older population. Besides, group of 15-24 years old has the smallest percentage in comparison with other bars, yielding in only 30% of users.
