Overall, females tended to marry in the earlier ages than males among the years given. The rate of males and females marrying above 30 witnessed an upward trend, while the age groups under 25 observed a contrast trends.
By 1998, the major number of females got married in 25-29-year-old, reached relatively 12%. This is followed by 30-34 (7%) and 20-24 age groups (6%), and only 1% females got married at 16-19 years old. For males, the age groups among 25-34 accounted for similar figure at 9% to become the largest groups in 1998. Contrary with females, there are no females who get married before turning 19.
In 2008, females getting married from ages between 25 to 29 remain unchanged and still dominated at around 12%. Besides, the females between 30-44 tended to marry more frequently, while a downward trend saw among 16-24 age groups. The similar trend also observed in males. Specifically, 30-34 age groups dramatically rose, reached 11% and became the largest group.
