The chart illustrates proportion of men and women aged 60-64 in employement in four different countries (Australia,Japan,USA, and Belgium)| betweem 1970 and 2000 It is evidence that in 30 years percentage of old people in employment decreased.
To start with,the highest percentage of man in employed was in Japan and it slightly went down from 84% to 76%.The biggest change happened in Belgium,the proportion saw a decline from 79% in 1970 to 19% in 2000.In USA and Australia percentage of man in employed slightly went down,for USA from 73% to 55% and for Australia from 74% to 47%.
However, persentage of women aged 60-64 in employment was significant lower than men.Also,there did not happened important change.In Belgium it held at approximately same level (7-8%) for 30 years.The highest percentage was is Japan 43% in 1970 and it saw a decline for 3%.In USA the proportion went down by 2% (from38% to 36%). And finally, in Australia it held at approximately same level (18-19%),like in Belgium./
