Overall, it is evident that secondary school students choose to study geography and history with highest percentage while art was least common in both years. RS and drama were replaced by IT in recent year.
In 1995, Geography and history was popular among the students with 21% to 26% ratio covering almost half of the proportion. Similarly, around 12% to 16% of students choose Art, Business and Drama, whilst RS was least popular among students with only 9% of them choosing.
In the current year, percentage of students taking Geography and history has remain almost unchanged while student taking business maintained its exact ratio. In contrast, Art Subject interest decline by nearly half of its percentage. Interestingly, there is no Rs and drama subjects demand now and is completely replaced by IT subject with highest proportion of 27%. of students pursuing the particular subject.
