The pie charts compares data about proportion of vehicles purchased by US residents in the years between 1980 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that Cars’s proportion has been dominating the whole vehicles’ ones. It showed that even if the rests added together, they were still less than the proportion of Cars.
In 1980, less than one-tenth percent of total vehicles were trucks, meaning that the 95% rate went to Cars for that year. 10 years later, the new vehicle had been added to the list, SUV’s, its rate was almost the same as trucks in 1980, 6%.
In 2000s, the percentages of Trucks and SUV’s decreased by the same proportion, from 16% and 30% to 14% and 28%, in turn. It followed that, the proportion of Car sales has been increased to 58% from 54%, making it the half of the total exchanges.
