As shown, the proportion of students traveling to school through bicycles and walking showed an entirely opposite trend but with the same percentage (15%). Specifically, the figure for those who chose bicycles experienced an upward trend, increasing from 20% in 2015 to 35% in 2019, whereas that for students selecting to walk to school declining by the identical magnitude (from 35% to 20%).
Similarly, there was a distinct pattern in the proportion of people choosing buses and subways. Those who were more inclined to buses accounted for 10% in 2015, but climbed to 15% in 2019. Conversely, the figure for youngsters who travelled by subway displayed an opposite trend from 15% to 10%. It is obvious that 15% of students from university stuck to private cars through out the period.
