The two pie charts below illustrate the percentage of people who did volunteer work organized in 2008 and 2014.
Overall, in both two years, most of the volunteers went for the environment. Besides that, in 2008, percentages of people were allocated more fairly. with around 20% each field except for Health Care. This data has slightly changed in 2014.
We can see that in 2008, the greatest proportion belonged to people who did in the educational area with nearly a quarter of total work (24%). Meanwhile, 21% people participated in environmental projects, the art category accounted for 18%, sporty organizations attracted 15% people to join, similar to some unnamed ones. In contrast, only 6% of volunteers chose health care.
Moving to 2014, a significant increase appeared in people who volunteered in environment and sport respectively 29% and 25%. In the health care area, the amount of people also rose from 7% to 8%. On the contrary, the proportion of people who engaged in educational and art organizations slightly fell from 6% to 7%. Besides that, the unmarked ones also decreased to 9% in total.
