The pie charts illustrate the proportion of water that six different areas of the world used for different purposes. Overall, for 4 areas of the world the most popular way to use water is Agricultural Use. For the other areas most common way to use water is Industrial Use.

The four areas such as: Africa, Central Asia, South East Asian and South America have similar percentages of purposes. The most popular purpose is the Agricultural Use, with almost for all areas 80%. However , Industrial Use is the second common way to use water in this regions, exept South America. In this area Industrial Use is less favored way that Domestic Use with 19%.

Last two areas – North America and Europe have differend percentage of purposes to use water that other areas. While in other regions Agricultural Use has the bigest per cent, in North America and Europe the most popular purpose is Industrial Use with 48% and 53%, that is less popular that in other areas. However Domestic Use is less common way to use water almost in all areas of the world, North America has 13% and in Europe its 15%.
