The given bar graphs compare the rates of workers in Germany, the USA, Japan, and China in three sectors in 1980 and 2010.
Overall, it is evident that workers in agriculture and services decreased over this period in all nations. Furthermore, industry workers increased over thirty years except in China.
In 1980, China had the highest rate of workers in agriculture among the others at 70 percent, and despite decreasing in thirty years, China still has the most workers among other countries by 50 percent. The workers who were in services in 1980 were the same in China and Germany. However, in 2010, China had a dramatic decrease in workers’ rate and had the lowest rate in 2010, while Germany remained in first place for agriculture workers.
According to the bar charts, it is clear that all the nations except China increased their workers in the industry sector in 2010. In contrast, China surprisingly remained at the same workers’ rate in both years, about 40 percent.
