The presented charts in combination illustrate the percentages of workers in three different sectors which are agriculture, industry and services in four different countries and their differences in 1980 and 2010.
A glance at the graphs reveals that the sector which sees the most workers employed is the industry in Germany, USA and Japan in both 1980 and 2010, on the contrary China presents a higher number of employees in agriculture.
As it is observed in the graphs, the percentages of workers in the sector of industry increased roughly by 20% in Germany and USA and by 30% in Japan from 1980 to 2010. However, the percentage stood exactly at 40% in China. On the other hand, in China it has been registered a decrease because even if it remains constant that the sector with more employment is the agriculture it has undergone a decline from 70% to 50%.
