Band 4+: The charts below show the proportion of expenditure by students, on average, at one university, in 2000 and 2010. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two charts illustrate the proportion of consumption by undergraduates, on average at one higher-education institutions.

Overall, students in 2010 used to spend less sources on clothing, rather than students in 2000. They had spent less resources on transport, utilities and for eating outside.

However, in both charts students used the same amount of money when it comes to holidays, foods and drinks, and sports and culture.

In terms of proportion of expenditure by students, in 2000 learners used the most of their finances to get food and drinks to home, then also for paying utilities. And the least of money they spent for eating out, and a bit more for holidays.

On a second chart we see a changing proportions of expenditure in transport, clothing and eating outside. Moreover there is some same things in each chart as food and drinks, sport and culture and holidays. Comparing to first part in second part learners select more money on eating outside.
