Overview, in all three years staying with family remained as the most popular type, but the least popular varied. Rented apartments were observed to gain more popularity over the years.
In the year 1988, the most popular choice was staying with family at 52 percent, followed by camping which was standing at 26 percent, the least popular was rented apartments. In the following decade, staying with family was still the most popular preference and, although, rented apartments became slightly more popular, they were still the least preferred type of accommodation.
By 2008, not only more people choice rented apartments over camping, but also hotels also gained more users. In that year, camping was the least preferred, but, staying with family remained as the most common.
