Overall, turning to the charts, it is clear that the use of oil to create energy decreased significantly in 2003. On the other hand, the use of hydrogen stayed in the same percentage. Other sources were used more in 2003.
To begin, the percentage of energy created from oil was 52% in 1985, while it was declined and reached at 39% in 2003. Moreover, the most energy produced from nuclear at 22% in 1985. But it fell down to 17% in 2003. Furthermore, comparing other sources like coal, nitrogen gas and other renewable, we can observe that they rocketed in 2003 and their percentages are 13%, 23% and 4%.
Finally, oil was still the most usable source of energy both in 1985 and 2003. Also hydrogen remained in the same position at 4%.
