The pie charts gives information about the percentage of working students in an engineering company who completed with various qualifications in the years 1980 and 2008.
Overall, all categories experienced a downward trend with the exception of Ph.D- Science and Ph.D – Art, which saw an opposite trend, while Master – Science remained stable. Additionally, the most percentage of students graduated Master – Science and Ph.D – Science during the given period.
Looking into more details, there was a slow decline in the proportion of students who finished First degree – Art qualification from 11% to 10% between 1980 and 2008. In terms of the percentage of graduates working in an engineering company with diploma of First degree – Science, it was made up 20% in 1980, which was followed by a dramatic fall of 8% in the coming 28 years. Moreover, Master-Art students took up 13% in the given previous year, prior to plummeting to 12% in 2008.
Turning to remained qualifications, 25% of graduates with Ph.D – Science diploma were hired to an engineering company in 1980 which , after which it grew gradually to 30% in 2008, making it the most popular. Furthermore, in the initial year, 2% of students who worked in one company was belonged to Ph.D – Art before witnessing a significant rise of 5% in 2008. However, the figure for students graduating Master – Science leveled off at 29% until the given period.
