The bar graph illustrates the availability and usage of oil resources in different regions throughout the year. The bar graph is segregated as the rate of oil resources available in a specific area and consumption of the oil resources for the same area.
The Middle East region has recorded the highest percentage (56.52%) of total world oil resources available, whilst Australia and Nea Zealand mark the lowest percentage (0.30%) of oil resources. Whereas Asia has the highest usage of oil resources of oil annually (26.21%), and the least in Australia and New Zealand (1.31%). Compared to the availability of oil resources, the Middle East region has significantly low consumption annually. On the contrary, Asia has a comparatively lower proportion of oil resources but has the highest consumption among all regions.
Apart from Asia, the United States, Western Europe, and Australia and New Zealand, are the regions where usage outweighs the available percentage of oil resources. Likewise, Canada, Central and South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa, have proportionate availability and consumption of the oil resources.
To summarize, it can be said that the usage and availability of oil resources annually, differ significantly through the regions. It need not necessarily be the same in all the regions.
