In general, two types of protein consumed by people from the four regions mentioned are from animals and other sources. In addition, the amount of protein in North America is recorded as the highest proportion among all, to the point of the total intakes of protein and calories.
As can be seen in the first bar chart, Indian people seem to take in the lowest amounts of animal protein and other protein, as rated at 13 units and 15 units, respectively. In contrast, people in North America are seen to ingest the most, accounting for 62 units and 18 units, . The Latin Americans rank second after the North Americans since their consumption is roughly 32 units and 13 units, followed by the East Africans with 16 units and 15 units.
In terms of average calorie consumption, North America seems to exceed the ideal protein figure (lower than 3000 calories) by about 3600 calories. Followed by far is Latin America, with approximately 2900 calories. The East African and the Indian are seen to remain under ideal protein consumption since their average intakes are recorded at about 2400 calories and 2000 calories, accorddingly.
