To begin with, around 40% and 38% of adults want to study for interest in subject and to gain qualifications, while 22% of those believe that it can be helpful for their current jobs. Also, 20% of adults decide to study in order to improve prospects of promotion, or enjoy learning. However, only 12% and 9% of those like to study to change their jobs and to meet people.
In sharp contrast, according to the result of a survey, many people think that 40% and 35% of the costs of adult education should be paid by individuals and employer, whereas 25% of this kind of costs should be paid by taxplayer.
