Overall, during 2 years, the general trend showed that Rolex dominated the market largely, ratio still increasing, while other companies experienced a decrease in market share.
In 2020, Rolex, Omega, and Cartier were the top three watch manufacturers, accounting for 39.5%, 15.6%, and 14.9% of the market share, respectively. While Rolex increased its share to nearly half, Omega witnessed a noticeable decline to 12.7%. Although Cartier experienced a slight decrease to 13.8% in 2021, it replaced Omega as the second-largest watch brand in the same year.
The remaining three competitors had around a tenth of the total in 2020 each, but all fell by 1% in 2021. Among them, Patek experienced the most significant decline, dropping from 10.3% to 8.8%. Conversely, Audemars Piguet, the smallest brand in 2020, climbed to the fourth-largest position in 2021, achieving a share of 9.1%.
