The data display the proportion of six brands in Swiss Watch Market in 2020 and 2021.
Overall, Rolex was the most significant manufacturer by far in both years. Rolex was dominant in the market, whilst all other companies lost their sales share.
The three of the biggest companies in 2020 were Rolex (39.5%), Omega (15.6%), and Cartier (14.5%), respectively. Rolex increased their sale in 2021 up to almost half (46.7%), whilst Omega and Cartier decreased their market. Cartier was on the second-highest wristwatch brand (13.8% had sold), replacing rank of Omega before. Omega replaced Cartier’s rank before, it was on the third-highest watch brand (12.7% had sold) in 2021,
The remaining three competitors had around 10% in their sales in 2020, falling around 1% in 2021. Patek Phillipe was the most-fell’s brand in 2021, dropping from 10.3% to 8.8%. Audemars Piguest was the fourth-highest brand, losing the smallest market’s (from 10% to 9.1%).
