The pie charts illustrates the types of christmas trees used in households in UK and USA and the number of trees grown annually in six different countries; USA, Germarny,France, Denmark, Belgium and UK between the year 2001 and 2002.
Overall, it is notable that the artificial trees dominated in both countres having the highest proportion. In addition,United state of america recorded the highest number of trees grown annually while United kingdom having the least.
In United Kingdom, artificial trees was highest selected as a type for christmass tree taking three quarter of the percentage of 66.6% while real trees taking small amount of 33.3%. In US households, artificial trees had almost equal proportion for artificial and real trees amounting to 58% and 42% respectively.
Amoung the six countries, USA had the highest figure of trees grown annually with 20.8 Million followed closely by Germany with 19 Million. France and Denmark recorded almost half the number of trees grown in both US and Germany having 9.2 and 8.5 million respectively. However, UK, recorded the least number of trees grown recording 4.4 million.
