The charts illustrate the percentages of Australia’s water consumption for agricultural products, and its income in 2004.
Overall, it can be seen that most of the water was used for livestock, while the largest income came from fruit. In contrast, it was spent a tiny ratio on vegetables.
According to the first pie chart, livestock was the most water-consumed product, which amounted to 36%. Then, products such as dairy and cotton used 19% and 15%. Fruit and sugar consumption are almost equal, and it is less than livestock approximately 3 times. In contrast, rice and vegetables had the smallest proportion, and it stood at 5% and 4%.
Turning to the second chart, Fruit was the most influenced by the economy, and fruit accounted for 44%, while livestock, which consumed the largest ratio, stood at 6% there. Moreover, cotton’s income amounted to 2 times less than dairy. Finally, rice and vegetables still had small percentages.
