These charts display the number and destination of two groups in the UK, graduates and postgraduates, excluding full-time work in 2008. These destinations were part-time work, voluntary work, further study, and unemployment.
In general, most of students in both groups opt for further study. While the number of graduates who chose this option was almost 30,000, the number of postgraduates was approximately one tenth of first group.
The number of graduated students, who were unemployed or had part-time job was nearly the same, which were about 16500 more or less. Students also tented to go for voluntary job after they graduated, and the number of them was 3500 people.
Among these destination in postgraduates in the United Kingdom, the number of people who did part-time job was about the same as people who chose further study. In this country, although, the small amount of students were voluntier in doing job, more than 1500 students did not have job and they were unemployed.
