First of all, the figure for world forest depicts Africa covering the most worldwide, with nearly a third of the land. This is followed by North America taking up a quarter of world forest. Additionally, South America comes in third by slightly less than a fifth.
In terms of timber, its coverage ratio lies the most in North America with a third of the world’s land, followed by South America with a slightly exceeding of a fifth. In addition, Europe holds the third position by taking an exact fifth area covered with timber.
