Overall, it is clear that green waste, metal and glass did not change over the past 5 decades. Yet, plastic, wood and food rose gradually, while the opposite was true for “other”, textile and paper.
Examining the specific, in 1960, paper with the proportion at 25% was dominated. Moreover, in first period, Green waste, metal and plastic had roughly the same percentages with 8% each. glass and wood showed 50% and 4% respectively, which were the lowest proportion, in 1960. “Other” and textile represent 12% and 17%, accurately.
When it comes to the next timeframe, the percentage for green waste, metal and glass did not change. However, plastic, wood and food saw two-fold growth, plastic at 18%, wood 8% and food 21%. Last but not least, other decreased three time from 12% to 4% as well as textile declined to 11%.
