The pie charts show the rice production in four Asian countries in the years 1985 and 2005.

Overaln, the there is a big change between the two years, which Vietnam and China were the highest countries producing rice in the first period, but in 2005, Japan became the main country produced rice.

The first pie chart illustrated that, China and Vietnam produced more than one-third each of Asian rice production, while Japan produced less then 20 percent, and Korea came last, approximately recording 5 percent.

The situation changed significantly after 20 years, which Japan rice production jumped sharply, recording more than two-thirds of the quantity that produced in all the content. In contrast, Vietnam and China’s rice production decreased dramatically compared to Japan, which their proportion fallen to approximately 20 and 15 percent respectively.
