The two pie charts compare the amount of rice production in China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam, during years from 1985 to 2005.
In 1985 the country which dominated the rice production during 1985 was Vietnam, followed by China as the second largest country in production, Korea is just behind this two countries mentioned taking third place among this four Asian countries and at the end is Korea occupating the smallest part in the pie chart.
In 2005 the pie chart and the Asian countries changed, the dominate country was Japan, taking almost the complete graphic, followed by China and Vietnam having nearly the same size, finally as same as in 1985, Japan took the last place in the graphic representing the Asian country with less rice production between this years.
In conclusion these pie charts represent how countries in Asian continent changed the amount of rice production, increasing it in big quantities and how some of them reduced their production.
