The chart show information about the rate of famale and male population with driving lincese over a thirty-year period in a European country
Overall, what stand out from the chart is that there were a significantly higher percentage of men who had a driving lincese. While the percentage of women with below middle range but the figure doubled in the end of period. At the same time,the rate of adolescent went oposite direction.
Looking at the details, as regards male, percentage started 70% in 1976, then the rate remained stable over the next five years. At which point it levelled off above 8% until 2006. In addition, the number of females holding a driving liense at the beginning, there was only 30%, rate then gradually rise and moderately growth 53% in 2001.There was then a gradual rise to around 60% in 2006.
By contrast, the percentage of young drivers between 17-20 years started to decline.Instead of grow in 1996 half of the young men held a driving liense decline slightly by 5% in 2006. Furthermore, the proporation of women fell by as much as 10% and counted of 20% in 2006
