North America and Africa had almost the same percentage(25% and 27%) of world forest, while the proportion of timber in North America had exactly a third. The second highest percentage of timber was South America, at 23%.
Asia had the lowest proportion on both pie charts, at 14% of world forest and 18% of timber, while Europe had almost the same percentage on both charts, at 18$ and 20%. In comparison, South America had a small minority of world forest, and 23% of timber.
