Overall, there will be slight changes for each sectors with only two that are expected to decline (agriculture and energy). Moreover, services and manufacturing sectors will remain the top two contributors to the global production.
In terms of services and manufacturing, the two sectors will experience the highest increase from 2030 to 2050, from 50.2% to 51.2% for services and from 30.6% to 33.1% for manufacturing. Similarly, it is expected that there will be an increase in global production from materials and Info-Com Tech sectors by 0.6% and 0.3%, respectively.
In contrast, energy and agriculture are the only two industries that are projected to drop in their productions by 2050. There will be a decline from 6.7% to 4.3% in energy productions, while agriculture will produce only half of the production in 2050 compared to 2030.
