The two pie charts compare the six sectors production over the world in future predictions for 2030 and 2050.
Overall, almost all types are expected to increase, with the exception of energy and agriculture sectors which are projected to decrease. Notably, service production will be the dominant according to the projection.
In 2030, it is expected that the service will take the half of the whole production, while manufacturing followed behind, at 30,6%. After 20 years, it is forecast to be a slight growth in the proportion of both sectors, with respective figures 1% and 2.5%.
There is anticipated to be a 1% difference between the figures for energy and into-com tech, the higher belonging to the former one, at 6.7% initially. By 2050, Into-com tech will increase slowly to 5.9%, while the production of energy is estimated to show a decline by 2.4%. Agriculture is calculated to dip gradually from 4% in 2030 to 2% in 2050. As for materials, it is projected that the proportion will experience a rise from 2030 to 2050, with respective figures 2.9% to 3.5%.
