The three pie charts compare the changes in yearly expenditure by a specific school in the United Kingdom in three periods of time from 1981 to 2001. The school expenditure in three periods of times display that teachers’ salaries were the highest expense in total, while insurance became the lowest category. Furniture and Equipment, the other categories, tended to increase from early to late period in over 20-year. In contradiction, resources showed decreasing percentage of expanses. Last categories, other workers’ salaries give the information with a constant decreasing in number.
It was obvious from the diagram that payment of the employees took different parts of the expenditure. Teachers’ salaries increase over 20-year compared to other workers’ salaries. Even though teachers’ payment fluctuated with rise at first from 40% to 50% and subsequently decline recently to 45%. While other workers’ payment constantly decreases in three periods of times, from 28% in 1981 drop to 15% in 2001.
Two categories that had a similar starting amount of expanse, show different trend. Resources drop from 15% in 1981 to 9% in 2001, while furniture and equipment rose from 15% to 23% in the periods. Last category that has clear information as the smallest expenditure, the insurance, arise in a steady stat from early periods to the late.
