The given bar chart illustrates the main transportation people use to go to a university for study in 2004 and 2009. Overall, it can be noticed that the greatest change was in the percentage of use to the bus.
2004 witnessed the most popular transportation was car, representing over a half of all methods, and although it was still a popular transportation, by 2009 it had fallen to nearly a quarter. The bus was the second main way of transportation in 2004, deputizing a third, yet in 2009 it rose significantly to more than two fifths and became the most popular method. The bicycle was the third popular in 2004 with less than one in ten, and still became the third popular in 2009 at 16%.
Less change was seen in the remaining two transportation. Walking was the second lowest in 2004 at only 4%, and rose slightly only at 6% in 2009. The use of train was the lowest in 2004, and grew only a percent five years later.
