The first bar chart depicts the percentage of children in two genders taking part in four different cultural activities, while the second gives information about that of sports.
Overall, the rate of girls enjoying cultural activities was generally higher than the proportion of boys, except for playing musical instruments, whereas boys topped the list in terms of sport. In addition, there was a notable disparity between the percentage of boys and girls dancing.
Among girls, they preferred dancing, accounting for 25%, being far higher than the percentage of boys doing that activity with only 3%. Meanwhile, 5% of girls took part in drama and singing, while the figures for boys were around 4%.
As for boys, playing musical instruments was their favorite cultural activity, at 15%, being slightly higher than the 10% for girls. Similarly, 70% of boys participated in sport, which was 20% higher than that of their counterparts.
